The seasons of Lent, our pilgrimage of penitence, is closing on that glorious week that will see the crowds hail our Lord on what we call Palm Sunday, will lead us to Mount Calvary and on to an empty tomb. On Easter Sunday, we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord from the dead. What a way to celebrate this glorious day at the Masonic Memorial in Alexandria, VA, joining with the Grand Master and Officers of the Grand Encampment of Knights Templar. It is a special honor for me, both as Grand Commander of Pennsylvania and Chairman of the Religious Activities Committee of Grand Encampment.
We are in the final month of the KT Eye Foundation campaign. So Far, Pennsylvania ranks 2nd in the country in giving. Let's do our best to keep that position and give generously to our great charity.
This is also the month when we see "the Changing of the Guard" in our local Commanderies as the newly-elected officers are installed. I shall be attending a number of installations and want to extend my congratulations and very best wishes to all the new Officers of Commanderies for a most successful and rewarding year.
Information concerning the Annual conclave of Grand Commandery has been shared with you. I now look forward to greeting many of you at the Annual Conclave of Grand Commandery, to be held at the Radision Hotel in Trevose; easy to get to; just a mile south of the Philadelphia exit of the Turnpike on Route One.
