December Message

 Sir Knights and Ladies:

This is a most wonderful time of the year, especially for Christians and Knights Templars as we celebrate HIM who died that we might live.  HIM, whose cross we wear.  HIM, who has given us the LIGHT and the JOY of loving and of giving.

As we give THANKS for HIS blessing let us remember in our prayers those who are less fortunate and those who are serving in our armed forces, that they may be kept safe and will be reunited with their families.

As your Commandery celebrates its Christmas Observance, be sure to invite the ladies and I urge you to invite the Commanderies in your division to share in the program.

Now is the time for every Commandery to recognize those Sir Knights who have provided support, leadership, and guidance, by awarding them the ILLUSTRIOUS KNIGHT of the TRIANGLE.  A Constituent Commandery of 100 members or less may make a nomination for the Award.  Additional nominations may be made for each additional 100 members or portion thereof.  A nominee is required to have been a Knights Templar for five years.  Acceptance of the ILLUSTRIOUS KNIGHT of the TRIANGLE award is contingent upon the payment of $100 by the nominee or other party to the Grand Commandery Endowment Fund.  Sir Knights, support your Grand Commandery.
