March Message

Sir Knights and Ladies:
We are only a few weeks away from the end of our Annual Voluntary campaign of the Knights Templar Eye Foundation. As of the last report this week, Pennsylvania is in fifth place. Every Commandery should have already made at least one (1) contribution. As Christian Masons fulfilling our charitable obligations and helping those in need, a wonderful thing happens - the gift of sight.
Easter comes early this year - March 23. I hope that many of you will join us as we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord from the dead at the George Washington National Masonic Memorial in Alexandria, VA. It makes you proud to be a Knights Templar as you march up Shooters Hill and join with those of the Grand Encampment of the United States and those from the other States that are present. Surely, we are touched by HIS presence.
Please, Sir Knights, take the opportunity to recognize those Sir Knights who have provided support, leadership and guidance to Templary, by awarding them the Illustrious Knight of the Triangle. It is encouraging that each Commandery bring honor to themselves and those that deserve this award..
The information about the 155th Annual Conclave, May 22-26, 2008 at the Harrisburg Hilton and Towers should now be in your recorder’s hands. This is the beginning of our new Templar year. Please show support to your new officers and a thank you to those who have served by attending this annual event. I look forward to greeting you there.
“Every Christian Mason should be a Knights Templar.”
Yours In Templary
Sir Knight Bryan L. Berry
Grand Commander
