I now look forward to greeting many of you at the Annual Conclave of Grand Commandery, to be held at the Radisson Hotel in Trevose: easy to get to; just a mile south of the Philadelphia exit of the Turnpike on Route One. It will begin with a Worship Service on Sunday evening, May 20 and conclude with the Installation of your new Grand Commandery Officers on Wednesday morning, May 23.
Where has this Templar year gone? It seems like a whirlwind. But I have had a great time as your Grand Commander, visiting many of you as I have traveled around the state. You have shown me warm and cordial hospitality, done your best efforts to make my reception a high point of your year, and supported me in many ways. I thank each and every one of you for this honor afforded me and I shall always cherish this year as an exemplary model of Brotherly Love.
I want to thank you for your support of the Knight Templar Eye Foundation, putting Pennsylvania once again in a leading position of charity. I also want to thank you for your generous support of the "offerings" I took for our Endowment Fund. We have surpassed the $750,000 mark, and with your continued support, we will "hit the million".
Finally, on behalf of Lady Nancy and me, we extend our very best wishes to you and to our Grand Commandery that Knight Templary in Pennsylvania may continue in strength to serve the great Captain of our Salvation, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And to S.K. Bryan Berry and the corps of Grand Officers, may your year be a shining example of chivalry and crowned with success
